I had recently received a new rifle thru a whitetail club raffle. Needing a scope, I was hoping I would still be able to use it this deer season. With less than two weeks till season, and needing a scope, and to be sighted in at a range, it wasn’t looking good. This particular rifle needed an odd scope mount, which the owner would have to contact the manufacturer for. It took him 3 days of contacting them to get a response. When he did, we were informed that the part would have to be shipped, and wouldn’t be delivered until too late for the season. He then looked thru his stock of mount parts, and came up with a way to make it work with what he had. I purchased a scope in store, and he went to work with me watching. His knowledge made it possible to keep working thru each problem that he encountered, until after a short time, he had it completed. Next problem was finding a place to sight it in short notice. He bore sighted it, then gave me the number of a gentleman with the West Branch gun club to try to set something up. Which I used to contact that day. The club responded to my text immediately, and I told him what my predicament was, and I was referred by Rick from Hair Trigger. That gentleman, John, took the time to come open up their range for me the next morning so I could take care of business. Ricks scope mount and bore sighting was on point. 3 shots at 50yds, then 6 more at 100yds. Shots 7,8, and 9 were all on top of each other in the bullseye! To say Rick went above and beyond, to make this happen in time is an understatement. From taking a brand new rifle, to dealing with waiting for manufacturers to get unique part information, to coming up with a solution of his own, having the parts to make that happen, to personally directing me to someone who could let me into a range in time for season, and having done such a good job, that it only took 9 shots from a new gun, to be dead on….3days! And 2.5 of those days was waiting on the manufacturer! I’m impressed to say the least! So thank you Rick and staff at Hair Trigger!
